Preliminary College Advising for 8th, 9th and 10th Graders
Working with a private college counselor to plan during 8th, 9th and 10th grade will enhance the possibilities for students to find college success and help position the student to make the most of their strengths (and find new ones).
Your College Connector can provide the following services:
Planning a course of study for high school classes
Review of learning style and career profiles completed by the student
Research for involvement in academic activities outside of high school
Alignment of extracurricular activities, including community service and sports
Optimize summer plans
Determine scheduling and course of study for future testing
Plan college visits
Prepare overview of the timeline and steps involved in the college admissions process
