College Board Announces Additional SAT/SAT Subject Test Date, Sign Up Before Spots Run Out

The College Board recently announced they will open a testing date for the SAT/SAT Subject Testing in August 2017. After listening to requests from admissions officials, college counselors, and testing administrators, they’re moving forward with this change starting this year. This is truly exciting news and here’s why:

This Opportunity is UniqueThis is the first time in over 30 years that students will have the opportunity to take the SAT and SAT Subject Tests over the summer. This helps students who may need to take the tests an additional time before early applications are due in October.

It Eliminates an Unpopular Testing DateWith this new testing date in August, comes the elimination of the January 2018 testing date, which is not advantageous to seniors who would benefit from an earlier testing date.

It Reduces StressWith college application deadlines coming earlier every year, this change in the testing window gives students an additional opportunity to improve their SAT and SAT Subject Test scores prior to submitting their college applications.

Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. Register for your preferred test date today and let us know how we can support you!
